Time and Place: April 11, 2006 – 7:00pm Mutt BBQ South Highway 14 Greer South Carolina.

1. Commander John Lynn opened meeting.










2. Chaplain Buck Hitt announced meeting.








3. Commander John Lynn led Pledges.

4. Chaplain Buck Hitt started with Prayer and then did Devotion.








5. Commander John Lynn read the Charge.










6. Guest Speaker Ron Hamilton and Webster Jones –
Greenville’s Confederate Museum – A very good program








7. Chaplain Buck Hitt Closed with Prayer and then the men all sang the National Anthem “Dixie”.

April Camp Meeting

Ron Hamilton will be speaking on South Carolina SCV Confederate Museum in Greenville, South Carolina at our April 11, 2006 Meeting at 7pm at Mutt's BarBQ 101 West Road - Greer, SC 29651 which by the way now has free WiFi internet access.

1. Commander John Lynn opened meeting.












2. Chaplain Buck Hitt announced meeting.












3. Commander John Lynn led Pledges.












4. Chaplain Buck Hitt started with Prayer and then did Devotion.

5. Commander John Lynn brought up about Gilreath Farm Day the first Saturday in May

6. LT Commander JD Edwards read the Charge.

8. Chaplain Buck Hitt Closed with Prayer and then the men all sang the National Anthem “Dixie”.

February Meeting

Jack Marlar our SCV Field representative will be our featured speaker at our February Meeting. He will be speaking on Southern Heritage Today. Being it will be Valentine Day he will also speak of Love Letters from the Hunley.

We will also be presenting a Certificate of Appreciation and a Check to Dr. Joseph Pipa.        

Lee-Jackson Banquet

The Lee-Jackson Banquet was held on January 28 at the Lyman Lake Lodge with a turn out of around 60 people. There was good food and door prizes. With special guest speaker Dr. Joseph Pipa who spoke on Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. A good time was had by all who attended.

Lee/Jackson Banquet - Jan. 28 6-9pm Lyman Lake Lodge with guest speaker Dr. Joseph Pipa. Tickets will be $15.00 for adults and $7.50 for 12 and under.
